Not a lot of basketball game threads today, understandable with a big football game.
But I was in Carver in person last night and was quite impressed with our Serbian center.
He looked much more comfortable than game 1. He moves well, has great body control, looks like he “belongs.” He’s not going to replace Garza - no one could - but I think he has the tools to be a solid B1G center, albeit a little under sized.
I know competition has been low quality, but Iowa looks as good early even against tomato cans as I can remember in the McCaffery era. This team is going to be competitive and fun.
