Looks like Iowa may be out of the top 10 in the final rankings. 4 play-off teams and the winners of the other 4 New Year's Six bowls will all be ahead of Iowa. Florida State and Notre Dame should be ahead as well. Stanford will be 3rd, Ohio State 4th. Michigan might even move ahead of Iowa. Among the 12 teams in the New Year's Six, only Oklahoma State may be behind Iowa in the final rankings.

Yep -- after that thrashing, I'd say in the teens somewhere, and I wouldn't argue with it a bit. They don't deserve anything higher. I think it's pretty clear we're not a top 10 team after today.

# 1 - # 6 Are:

Alabama 13 - ?
Clemson 14 - ?
Stanford 12 -2
tO$U 12 - 1
MSU 12 - 2
Oklahoma 11 - 2

# 7
# 8
#9
# 10

Going to put 12 - 2 Iowa behind.....

10 - 3 Notre Dame destroyed by tO$U No.
10 - 3 Florida St destroyed by Houston No.
10 - 3 Okie St destroyed by Old Miss No.
11 - 3 North Carolina Beaten by Baylor with 4th string QB No.
10 - 3 Baylor ?
13 - 1 Houston Yes
10 - 3 Michigan Destroyed at home in rival game by tO$U No
10 - 3 Old Miss Yes
10 - 2 TCU Plays Oregon Yes with win
9 - 3 Oregon Plays TCU Yes with win

I was thinking 12-14... Which may be right on, or a bit too generous. Based on performance today, and performance of the best teams iowa has played, 15-18 is probably most accurate.

First 12-0 regular season and likely only the 5th best final season ranking under KF. I'm guessing 9th or 10th.

That's because of their success...had to play better opponents late. Ranking are meaningless
