Fire/Carbon Monoxide detectors

house is about 8 months old alarm going off every 3 hours. Any ideas why? Hard wired with battery backup. Already replaced all batteries and cleaned with canned air. Shut breaker off for an hour still doing it. May kill someone soon.

Well, do you have carbon monoxide exposure?

Maybe the unit is faulty. Go buy a new one at Home Depot and see if that one goes off.

Could be a spider infestation. Spray it down with Raid and see if that helps.

Does your device require regular calibration? It could be warning you to update the settings/recalibrate based on factory settings.

After 8 months? I'd also look at the settings, I'm wondering if something is faulty.

You shouldn't have a dual monitor. Smoke detectors are at ceiling height. CO2 detectors should be near the floor.
