(at least according to ESPN's selection)

We all know the Hawks had King and Walsh with Beathard and Blythe receiving second team honors. Who did Stanford have recognized as all conf performers?

RB- Conner McCaffery, of course
OL- Josh Garnett
OL- Kyle Murphy
TE- Austin Hooper
LB- Blake Martinez

Return Specialist- Conner McCaffrey

We all believe the B1G is the tougher and deeper of the two conferences but I found it interesting....

Blythe and Jewell were second teamers who performed at a first team level. Blythe is a Rimington award finalist for goodness sakes.

I like Canzeri's chances to make second team, and possibly even first team, if he's healthy all season.

The B1G also has two more teams than the PAC-12.

I like our chances.

Is there a quality disparity between Pac and Big OL's and LB's? Meaning would Garnett and Murphy be 1st team in the Big 10?

Garnett is a 1st team All-American for USA Today and CBS Sports. (These are the only two organizations that have announced their all-american teams this year to date)

Murphy is 2nd team All-American for CBS Sports.

Both were also 5 star recruits out of high school, so it looks like their performance in college lived up to their recruiting profiles. Garnett would definitely be all-Big10 first team. He is the best guard in the nation. Murphy might be first team, but would definitely be second team all-Big10.
