Iowa doesn’t recruit nearly as good as Penn State and Kirk generally did well against JoePa. Then they got O’Brien and even Franklin and we seem to struggle to beat them.
I think the same kind of applies to Northwestern. They have recruiting disadvantages however Fat Pat seems to have Kirk’s number more often than not.
I believe there was a thread earlier this week that quoted Fitz as saying they know exactly what Iowa will do...... probably not throw 51 times but, I guess it works.
