Agreed, with the caveat that it is waterproof-ish. Super durable though.Go with LVP. Easy to install and waterproof.
That is the plan. Got a guy we use. Getting rid of some carpet in the attic as well, Have a cat. Carpet must go. He prefers the Lowe’s here in Brookfield. But checking to see others opinions on retailers.Go with LVP. Easy to install and waterproof.
Agree but in some applications you will need to put down underlayment, which isn't cheap right now. Might change the elevation of the baseboard...Go with LVP. Easy to install and waterproof.

There's a rather large difference between a " handyman " and a " home builder ", I'm guessing...That’s what our handyman is doing.
Ripped out the carpet and put it on the cement floor. You just put it right on top of the old flooring, or straight onto the plywood?
Basements should have a vapor barrier, but I don't think that's the case for upper level floors.

Used a hammer on my first room and it didn’t go well 😂

He’s retire home builder. Does a lot of subcontracting. We’ve used him for several other projects. Drywall, decking, etc. His own house he remodeled. Old Milwaukee 4 story. Lots of work. There's a rather large difference between a " handyman " and a " home builder ", I'm guessing...

I'm always snooping on zillow, and I'm often intrigued by the peculiar design choices people make.Going to remove some tile as well. The original design was odd.
There’s a thing called expansion that lvt needs. Base board on top of floor only, looks tacky as ****. Put a shoe trim down to transition
It's not a rental...
He get out of it during covid? Best friend's dad used to be a home builder. Then covid hit when he was in his late 50s. Homebuilding slowed down so he turned to home renos. Now he only does renos because they're faster to turn, easier to manage, don't have to deal with hiring a crew, and he can make a better profit margin. He’s retire home builder. Old oak wood flooring in every room on main floor. Tile in kitchen. And tile connecting bedrooms and hallway that connects to kitchen.I'm always snooping on zillow, and I'm often intrigued by the peculiar design choices people make.
Zillow Gone Wild are great accounts for finding weird design choices.

Bro. You need to have your man work directly with the importer. Italian marble requires a lot of attention to detail and you can’t do it all yourself.Opinions on who do go with for you DIY.
