Performance of the week
Quarterback Peyton Mansell finished 13/15 passing for 210 yards and 4 touchdowns on Friday night as Belton dominated Stony Point 70-35. Mansell also added 8 carries for 63 yards on the ground as well. Through 3 games, Mansell has completed 49 of 62 pass attempts (79.0%) for 568 yards with 8 touchdowns and 1 interception. On the ground, he has 25 carries for 256 yards and 3 touchdowns for Belton (2-1) this season.

Ivory Kelly-Martin scored 4 touchdowns for the 3rd straight week as he finished with 9 carries for 98 yards and 2 scores on the ground and 3 catches for 81 yards and 2 touchdowns receiving in Oswego East's 71-0 win over Joliet Central. Through 3 games, Kelly-Martin has 42 carries for 481 yards and 10 touchdowns for Oswego East (3-0).

Playing quarterback, he was also 3/7 passing for 24 yards and 1 touchdown. Through 3 games, Benjamin now has 70 carries for 494 yards and 6 touchdowns and is 10/19 passing for 171 yards and 2 touchdowns for Wylie East (2-1).

Defensive back Djimon Colbert had 2 tackles and 1 pass breakup as Bishop Miege beat Gardner-Edgerton 38-7 on Friday. Through 2 games, Colbert has 6 tackles, 1 TFL, and 6 pass breakups for Bishop Miege (2-0) this year.
Chevin Calloway's defense only allowed 93 total yards as Bishop Dunne dominated Trinity Christian 56-14 on Friday. Bishop Dunne is now 2-0 on the season and hosts Fayetteville this week.
Tristan Wirfs led the way for the Mount Vernon offense as they piled up 550 yards in a 78-0 win over Camanche on Friday. Mount Vernon is now 1-2 on the season.
Coy Kirkpatrick returned to the lineup this week after missing 2 games with an ankle injury and helped lead Madrid to a 35-6 win over Panorama. Madrid is now 3-0.
Mark Kallenberger helped Bettendorf rack up nearly 200 yards rushing, but they ended up losing 28-27 to Cedar Rapids Washington. Bettendorf is now 1-2 on the season.
A.J. Epenesa's defense pitched a shutout this past weekend as Edwardsville beat Collinsville by a score of 49-0. Through 3 games, Edwardsville has only allowed 33 points this season on their way to a 3-0 record.
