Performance of the week
Running back Henry Geil had another huge performance on Friday night as he finished with 22 carries for 273 yards and 4 touchdowns in Green Bay Preble's 57-7 win over Sheboygan North.
The game pushed Geil over 1,000 rushing yards for the season as he has 150 carries for 1,068 yards and 14 touchdowns through 6 games for Preble (5-1).

Other performances
With offensive line commit Jeff Jenkins leading the way, Samson Evans had a pretty easy night with 4 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown plus a 38 yard punt return for a touchdown before resting in the second half as Prairie Ridge beat Bartlett 63-7. This season, Evans has 783 yards rushing for Prairie Ridge (5-0).
Offensive lineman Cody Ince helped Unity go over 300 yards rushing again this week as they beat Shell Lake 52-14 on Friday. On defense, Ince added 7 tackles in the game. This season, he has 44 tackles and 10 TFL for Unity (5-1).
Defensive tackle Tyler Linderbaum had 2 tackles and 1 TFL in Solon's 43-7 victory over Oskaloosa on Friday. On the season, Linderbaum has 19 tackles, 4 TFL, and 2 sacks for Solon (5-0) who has only allowed 14 total points through 5 games.
Blocking tight end Jack Plumb, who will play offensive line in college, helped set the edge as Bay Port rushed for 307 yards in their 35-21 win over Notre Dame on Friday. This year, Plumb has 2 catches for 15 yards and 2 touchdowns for Bay Port (6-0).
Cornerback Terry Roberts made his mark on offense this week with 3 catches for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns in Cathedral Prep's 69-7 win over General McLane. On the season, Roberts has 11 catches for 391 yards and 5 touchdown on offense to go along with 4 tackles and 2 interceptions on defense for Cathedral Prep (5-0).

Defensive tackle Noah Shannon finished with 2 tackles and 1 sack in Oswego's 43-6 victory over Romeoville on Friday. This season, Shannon has 26 tackles, 6 TFL, and 3.5 sacks for Oswego (4-1).
Cornerback D.J. Johnson had 4 tackles on Friday, but saw his North Central team lose a close one to Carmel 10-9. This season, Johnson has 16 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 3 pass deflections for North Central (3-3).
Playing in his second game after returning from a knee injury, Julius Brents had an interception that he returned for 10 yards in Warren Central's 41-12 victory over Pike on Friday. Warren Central is now 3-3 on the season.
Tight end Anthony Torres is still out with an injury. His Mishawaka Penn team improved to 5-1 on the season with a 30-14 win over South Bend St. Joseph Friday.
Linebacker Dillon Doyle finished with 7 tackles, 1 TFL, and a fumble recovery on defense and 3 catches for 25 yards on offense as Iowa City West beat Cedar Rapids Prairie 48-28 on Friday. This season, Doyle has 27 tackles and 3 TFL for West (5-0).

Tyrone Tracy Jr. had 11 carries for 80 yards on the ground and 5 catches for 88 yards and 3 receiving touchdowns in Decatur Central's 63-28 win over Plainfield Friday. This season, Tracy has 72 carries for 700 rushing yards and 28 catches for 530 receiving yards with 13 touchdowns for Decatur Central (5-1).
In the same game, Tracy's cousin, Class of 2019 defensive back Larry Tracy, finished with 7 tackles and 1 interception for the Decatur Central defense. This season, Tracy has 45 tackles, 10 pass breakups, and 2 interceptions for Decatur Central (5-1).
With Iowa tight ends coach LeVar Woods in attendance on Friday, Class of 2019 commit Logan Lee had a good night with 2 catches for 65 yards and 2 touchdowns on offense and 5 tackles, 2.5 TFL, and 1 sack on defense as Orion beat Princeton 63-7. This year, Lee has 16 catches for 278 yards and 6 touchdowns for Orion (4-1).
Class of 2019 offensive line commit Tyler Endres helped Norwalk put up over 300 yards of offense including 234 in the air in their 16-10 win over Bondurant-Farrar on Friday. Norwalk is now 4-1 this season.
Class of 2019 offensive line commit Ezra Miller led the way as Ridge View piled up 275 rushing yards in their 16-7 win over Fort Dodge St. Edmond Friday. Defensively, Miller had 3 tackles and 1 TFL in the game for Ridge View (4-1).

Finally, Iowa Western Community College defensive tackle Daviyon Nixon, who plans to enroll at Iowa at semester, had 3 tackles and 1 TFL as the Reivers beat Coffeyville by a score of 57-14 Saturday. In 5 games this season, Nixon has 21 tackles, 6 TFL, and 1 sack for Iowa Western (4-1).
