What Worries You Most About @ Michigan State?

For me, it's in this order.
  1. Aidan Chiles legs. He's 1st on their team for rushing TDs, and he's 3rd in rushing with 115 rushing yards.
  2. WR Nick Marsh. 3rd on the team in receptions with 16, but 1st on the team in receiving yards with 320 yards and averaging 20 yards per catch.
  3. FG Kim. He's perfect on the year for field goals. 2-2 from 50+, 2-2 from 40-49, 2-2 from 30-39, and 3-3 from 20-29.
  4. Net punting. They're #7 in the nation averaging 44.22 yards.
All the players quitting at mid-season and this embarrassing Doyle thing popping up again ... something bad is going on again in Iowa City, hope they can cover it up like last time.

MSUs strength is it's passing game.

However, the OL is down both starting guards to season ending injuries, and the tackle play is kind of shaky. Makes us one dimensional against defenses that can stop the run.
That's what we do!!

What? Is there allegedly something to the players leaving? Seemed they were guys that weren’t playing, and didn’t want to play in five games, losing a year.

I suspect you’re jumping to conclusions?

He's a Nebbie troll. Just put him on ignore.

That bad weather might limit the explosiveness of our passing attack. Looks like we might have dodged that bullet.

Well, we don't get home with our 4 man rush often so...

To be honest, nothing scares me about this game. I think we should beat MSU. The crowd, homecoming, all that probably won't have an impact on us. We are too methodical on offense.

All that said, there's never a game I'm positive we will win. Who knows?

Kirk Ferentz worries me the most. If Iowa gets a lead he will absolutely sit on it and go into turtle mode. This is a night game and homecoming for MSU - their fans will be drunk, rowdy, and loud. Kirk will need to go for the throat.

Order was wrong, but Marsh dominated, fg kicker dominated, Chiles ran enough.
LOL, and we never made them punt. But your list was otherwise spot on!

I'd give my 'worry' a bump as well. I put down footing on the grass surface, which ended up being pretty significant, as it appeared we were playing in an ice rink for some reason.

This is an equipment team failure that goes back several years at least. WTF? Not enough budget for the right shoes or what, guys?
