Performance of the week
Terry Roberts is the only Iowa commit still playing this season, but he definitely had a standout performance Thursday night. Roberts finished with 4 catches for 110 yards and 1 touchdown on offense and 1 tackle and a pass deflection on defense to help Cathedral Prep beat Imhotep Charter 38-28 in the 4A state championship game.
On the season, Roberts finishes with 41 catches for 1,237 yards and 16 touchdowns on offense and 24 tackles and 5 interceptions on defense for Cathedral Prep (14-0).

Final season stats
Future Hawkeyes Samson Evans and Jeff Jenkins teamed up to lead Prairie Ridge to their second consecutive undefeated run to a state championship this season. On the year, Evans finished with 268 carries for 2,101 yards and 37 touchdowns on the ground as well as 605 yards passing and 8 touchdowns through the air for Prairie Ridge (14-0).
The versatile Tyrone Tracy Jr. had 123 carries for 1,412 yards rushing and 54 catches for 1,132 yards receiving with 29 touchdowns this year for Decatur Central (10-2).
Running back Henry Geil finished his senior season with 224 carries for 1,479 yards and 16 touchdowns for Green Bay Preble (6-4).
Linebacker Dillon Doyle had 73 tackles and 9 TFL on defense and 19 catches for 242 yards and 4 touchdowns on offense this year for Iowa City West (12-1).
Defensive tackle Noah Shannon had 46 tackles, 15 TFL, and 8 sacks this season for Oswego (10-2).
Cornerback D.J. Johnson finished his senior season with 36 tackles and 2 interceptions for Indianapolis North Central (3-7).
Defensive tackle Tyler Linderbaum finished with 51 tackles, 7 TFL, and 2 sacks this season for Solon (11-1).
After returning mid-season from a knee injury, safety Julius Brents had 17 tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 interception for Warren Central (7-4).
Offensive lineman Cody Ince helped Unity (9-3) rush for 2,187 yards on the ground this season and defensively finished with 101 tackles, 21 TFL, and 4 sacks.
Tight end Jack Plumb, who will play offensive line in college, had 5 catches for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns this year, and helped Bay Port (11-1) rush for 3,276 yards.
Linebacker Ben VanSumeren had 85 catches for 1,259 yards and 13 touchdowns on offense to go along with 43 tackles and 4 TFL on defense for Garber (4-5) this year.
Defensive end John Waggoner had 27 tackles, 12.5 TFL, and 5.5 sacks this season for West Des Moines Dowling (12-1).
Junior college defensive tackle Daviyon Nixon finished the year with 38 tackles, 11 TFL, and 4 sacks for Iowa Western Community College (11-1).
Class of 2019 commit Logan Lee had 28 catches for 496 yards and 8 touchdowns on offense and 84 tackles, 28 TFL and 13 sacks on defense this year for Orion (9-3).
Class of 2019 offensive line commit Ezra Miller paved the way as Ridge View (6-3) had 2,041 rushing yards this year and he added 51 tackles and 8 TFL defensively.
Class of 2019 offensive line commit Tyler Endres led the way upfront as Norwalk rushed for 1,186 yards and threw for 1,707 yards on their way to a 6-3 record.
Class of 2019 defensive back commit Larry Tracy finished the season with 86 tackles, 10 TFL, 14 pass breakups, and 3 interceptions for Decatur Central (10-2).
Finally, safety Riley Moss, who will be a grayshirt recruit for the Hawkeyes in 2019, had 31 tackles and 1 interception for Ankeny Centennial (9-3) this year.
