This is not meant as a flame, but more on how an injury might affect a QB's throwing motion. So my questions are -
1. In CJB's case where he as some sort of groin muscle/hip issue, is a deep throw more difficult because of the injury?
2. If the injury doesn't affect throwing motion/footwork, would he be more likely to miss deep throws because of timing/lack of preperation (resting hence no practice)?

I ask this because CJB had 3 wide open WR's that were overthrown, or in the case of JSmith, rifled in on a "line drive" where JS was looking up when the ball hit him in the forearms. Again, this isn't a flame just curious how injuries (leg/hip) affect a QB's motion/timing.

You do need your legs to really step into a deep throw. Not sure how much CJ's injury is limiting his range of motion but he probably can't torque like he wants. So he is overcompensating by putting more behind the throw. The timing issue is probably also legit but less of a factor.
