The guy PD3 lost to by a point was a Jr World Champ in addition to his other top 3 finishes at the best tournaments in the world.
I was hoping to see leg attacks by PD3, because he hit a beautiful Zadick-esque elbow pass single at WTT or the Open that got me giddy like a school girl at the time. He’ll need leg attacks to win it this year.

They shouldn't have made him remove the
tape that was supporting his dislocated fingers. They allowed the tape in all of the remaining matches. How there can be such a moronic discrepancy at this level of world class wrestling is mind numbing.
BTW, I'll need all the back I can get. Sport has crippled me.

Win what? The boy is filling an open spot in your lineup. Hopefully he stays outta trouble, wrestles his matches and wins a few. A couple of things he isn't doing is winning a Big10 or NCAA title.
Hopefully someone lets him know before those tourneys so he doesn’t bother showing up
I know you've just started watching wrestling recently, so I'll fill you in on the sport a bit. There is this guy named Pat Downey III that is really good at wrestling ... Junior World Silver Medalist, JUCO National Champ, D1 AA who has beaten the Who's Who of wrestling at every level of the sport. He's going to win more than a few matches during his time in Iowa City.
Stop by a practice sometime. We'll spend some time discussing the premise of hand fighting, and I'll introduce you to the concept of this mythical creature named Dan Gable. It will blow your mind.
We appreciate you giving Downey something to post on his locker. A little extra motivation is always a good thing. maybe once a month you could give him something else.

He needs 27ish credit hours to graduate from ISU. Then he can enroll at Iowa in a graduate program and join the team 2nd semester. People seem to think he is a bad student because of his past, but it is my understanding that passing classes has never been a problem.
You obviously are just trying to stir the pot because if you knew your a** from your elbow and have seen him wrestle you would understand he has the ability to beat anyone at 184 or 197 this year. I can agree that he needs to keep his head straight.
