Cook confirmed that Iowa will likely be receiving one of those visits, having already visited Iowa City twice on an unofficial basis.
"I love the town," Cook said. "When I first went there on an unofficial it was a great college town. The coaches are really genuine and they love their kids and they care about them on and off the court. The fanbase at Iowa is really amazing and they bring in high character guys at Iowa."
During his recruitment by the Iowa coaching staff, he has developed a strong bond with Coach Fran McCaffery.
"He's great. He knows how to talk to guys my age and he knows what concerns us and he's a great basketball mind. I feel like if I went to Iowa that I know he would take care of me," Cook said of McCaffery. "He wants to know how I am doing academically and how my parents are doing and how my game is progressing. He's just a very caring guy and I really like that about him."
