If I was Barts, I’d give Fran a $10,000 post game bonus. Refs suck and Fran let them know it!!Sure, but every person who watched that said clearly, They'd never seen that before. Coach calls a timeout, (having not called one the whole game), bypasses the team and walks directly to the ref on the sideline and posts himself several feet away for the glare down. Then he walks forward several steps and continue the glare down. The funny part was when the ref took two steps toward Fran and remained stoic staring back at him. I'd actually love to have someone interview the ref and ask him his thoughts.
The prior incidents when it looks like he wants to go after the official but the staff holds him back. Reminds me of a junior high kid acting tough but knows full well that others are there to prevent a confrontation.
Fast forward to today. Staff isn't holding him back. Fran doesn't act tough. Fran doesn't try to advance on the official.

He's a blowhard.
During the period of that stare down, I thought both guys were really careful. Good job by Fran to not say one word, because he’d have been T’d up and ejected. Actually really good officiating to allow the coach to just stare, move up on him and give Fran a chance to walk away or get tossed. What an idiot…..and I don’t mean Fran! I think it’s an awesome way to make a point with out saying anything. The game definitely turned at that point. Keep up the good work Fran!
I saw him advance, you are the blowhard. The prior incidents when it looks like he wants to go after the official but the staff holds him back. Reminds me of a junior high kid acting tough but knows full well that others are there to prevent a confrontation.

So I’m torn here.
Do I side with current and former players who love Fran
Or
The know nothing blowhards who start negative threads even after an amazing comeback win.
Tough one.
Yeah that ref was an idiot blow hard who was shitty at his job you are right!!The prior incidents when it looks like he wants to go after the official but the staff holds him back. Reminds me of a junior high kid acting tough but knows full well that others are there to prevent a confrontation.

Maybe you miss that sometimes it's one of the assistants doing the time out, not Fran. Good use of his down timeI’d rather Fran coach his team during a TO than stare down a ref.
^^^ Perfectly encapsulated ^^^During the period of that stare down, I thought both guys were really careful. Good job by Fran to not say one word, because he’d have been T’d up and ejected. Actually really good officiating to allow the coach to just stare, move up on him and give Fran a chance to walk away or get tossed.
If you are suggesting that McCaffery beats his wife, you are on very thin libelous ice.If he was just a blowhard his wife would have fewer bruises.
