Sacramento is a s**t hole. Being the capital of California, located away from the southern border and being approx the size of Omaha I thought it would be a nice, clean place to check out on a trip to central CA.

Homeless people and panhandlers everywhere. The town itself is old, poorly designed, dirty and I felt less safe there than I have in many much bigger cities. Never relaxed a bit because I felt I had to stay on top of everything. Very little police presence there and the wrong people know it.

Sorry to hear this happen but not surprised it did in Sacramento.
