Fire Trucks Held Up for Smog Tests as LA Burns

Always a victim. Always snowflakes just like their cult leader

And despite his "poor me victim" ploy, he's going to go straight back to the same sources that fed him that disinfo.

Which is why we know he's neither a victim, nor sorry. If he had any remorse, he'd delete all those links and find more reliable info sources.

I was the victim why would I apologize?
If it was one time and you learned your lesson? Then sure, you got fooled - it has happened to all of us on the internet. But most of us learn from those mistakes, we stop trusting those sources and if we spread it on we apologize.

The thing is you constantly repost bullshit - over and over and over again. That does not make you the victim…it makes you either a gullible moron or a complicit actor spreading disinformation to fit an agenda.

So which is it? Are you a dumbass or a liar with an agenda? Personally I think you are both.

Yup

Someone who actually felt any contrition would go back and erase all the links to those who fed him that disinfo, to prevent being duped again.

But OP wants to post the disinfo and doesn't care if he ends up looking like a dupe.
We'll just Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

Sacramento bureaucrats held up a fire department strike team of 60 firetrucks from Oregon. The truck teams were sent to help contain the Los Angeles fires and stopped for emissions testing since they didn’t have smog certificates.

Therefore, as LA burned, the fire trucks went through smog testing.

Santa Monica Observer posted:

“I just heard from my brother,” tweets Parker Caldwell, “a firefighter in Central Oregon, that the 60 firetrucks the state sent to support the LA fires are being held up in Sacramento for ’emissions testing.’ They likely won’t pass inspection and won’t be able to help… What a joke.”

“Update from our EF&R strike team leader – crews are going through inspection in Davis, California. They have been assigned to the #PalisadeFire, which is currently 6% contained. Safe travels to our team! #CaliforniaWildfires #wafirefighters”

Meanwhile, according to the Bend Bulletin, the strike teams were stopped in the Sacramento area before arriving in Southern California to complete mandatory vehicle safety checks. Oregon State Fire Marshal agency administrator Ian Yocum described the safety checks as a “critical” part of the mission.

Yocum said, “With moving this amount of equipment and firefighters, safety has to be our highest priority.”

They didn’t have smog certificates. However, LA was burning down.

Only eleven of them got going on Friday.

It seems dangerous to set emissions testing as a priority when the country is going through one of the worst disasters in its history.

But that is SO California.

JFC. He’s been a mental midget from day one, but who laid down the final blow and completely broke Rico while I was gone?!?! ELL OH ELL!

I was the victim, just deal with it Mouse.

1) YOU started the thread
2) YOU made the accusation.
3) the accusation has been DEBUNKED
4) somehow, in your mind, this makes you the victim.

Yup, MAGA in a nutshell.
LOL - I "posted" a story from a trusted source, said source truly felt the story was accurate when they shared it with the world. As the victim I merely shared their story.

So why are you complaining about "trucks"?

The Reservoir was being repaired.
During the "non-Santa Ana winds season".

Typical MAGA. Always looking for someone else to blame for your failures. If y’all weren’t so busy blaming everyone else for your life problems maybe you would have time to learn something - if you are capable of learning.
This fire and how it’s been “handled” is about the least MAGA thing ever. The areas that have burned to the ground makes the libs on this board seem right wing with how progressive they are. Think Curb Your Enthusiasm, it’s that kind of neighborhood. The residents were failed on every level by Democrat politicians, and they are PISSED! Governor Newsome and LA Mayor Karen Bass are getting obliterated on the daily by people that have supported them another party for ever. Bass and the DEI Fire Chief are going tit for tat with the blame game. It’s really sad. Changes forthcoming.

Not sure why you directed this post at me. I was talking to and about Rico who claimed he is a victim because he posted some batshit inaccuracies about the response. I don’t believe he lives in California at all. What is happening in LA is horrible and I was not referring to that tragedy at all.

I hope all is well with you and wish the best for everyone in LA.

I added you based on the comment “typical MAGA blaming everyone else for your problems”. I took it out of context to mean that you were saying the fire situation was a MAGA problem. My mistake, I’m a little chippy lately. I live and work in LA county in Law Enforcement, we’ve been working a ton of evacuation and looting suppression details lately. My buddies’ widow’s (he was killed on the job 10+ years ago) house burned down and doesn’t know where she’ll live long term. I’m so conservative I sh*t Trump hats, but this tragedy is affecting a huge portion of the So Cal Democratic donor/voter base. There is quite a lot of talk about recalling LA Mayor Karen Bass. She’s catching a lot of criticism for her trip to Ghana while the weather report indicated 100mph winds and a high fire danger warning. Especially when she told the below to a Times interviewer in 2023.

“I went to Africa every couple of months, all the time,” she said, adding, “The idea of leaving that, especially the international work and the Africa work, I was like, ‘Mmm, I don’t think I want to do that.’”

She ultimately decided that she did, telling The Times that if she was elected mayor, “not only would I of course live here, but I also would not travel internationally — the only places I would go would be D.C., Sacramento, San Francisco and New York, in relation to L.A.”

No problem at all. Sorry to hear about the situation - sounds like an absolute nightmare. Hoping for the best for you and those you love.

It is unfortunate that people have to be personally impacted before they see what's going on around them and only then do they decide it's time for a change politically. This is going to be the end of Newsom and others politically and in the long run the people of California will be better off.

Thank you and your fellow officers for doing what you do!
