For the Friends fans out there (and those who will click just to let us all know they've never watched it), what did you think?

No interest. And I was a Friends watcher back in the day. Gen X represent
I thought it was really great! A nice trip down memory lane and the table reads were fun--they fell right back into their characters. It was also neat seeing them walk onto their old set--you could feel the nostalgia they were experiencing after 17 years being away.

In the same vein, I really enjoyed the Chuck Reunion (via Zoom) last year. They did a table read of the fan voted, "Chuck vs The Beard".

With the table reads in the Friends reunion you can see what incredible actors they all are. I loved it and am not ashamed to admit I loved friends and still find a lot of it funny. The "pivOT!!" scene still gets me no how many matter how times I've seen it.

Yes, it was fun.

Unfortunately Jen and Courtney decided to destroy their faces with plastic surgery
Yeah. At first I thought they looked good (bodies are still fantastic) but then when you saw their faces up close I thought what a shame.

If Jennifer had major work it was recently. I saw a clip of it and something about her face didn't look right. Courtney had it back when she was on Cougar Town.

Ross' reaction to not being able to name all the states is the only thing I laughed at harder than "Pivot!"

Threesome with Courtney and Jennifer is the only thing I’d do now regarding friends. And punch Ross in the face. Hate that guy.

The show didn't hold up that great over the years and honestly, I think the laugh track just hypnotizes people into thinking it was funny in the first place. I will not watch the reunion.

I grew up on FRIENDS and through all the shit I have been through, it's been the one thing that's remained constant.

I thought the reunion was perfectly done, made me laugh, made me tear up, and brought back so many memories.

Good times.

They do work a bit at a time. Convinced to keep getting rom com leads they need to look late 20's/early 30's. Once u do a bit here and there it's tough to stop not going full Rivers.

Didn't watch the reunion show but I did enjoy watching about half the original episodes back in the day. The Ross&Rachel saga was annoying as hell but Chandler was funny and Jen was hot.

One of my favorite scenes was Chandler trapped in an ATM vestibule with supermodel Jill Goodacre during a blackout.

"Oh, my God! He's trapped in an ATM vestibule with Jill Goodacre!"

CSB I hung out with David Schwimmer one night in Chi Town at his club the Dragon Room. He didn't need to act in Friends as that's exactly as he is in real life. Nice guy actually. For awhile it was just him and I sitting at the table talking about life and his fame. The next day he called and asked if we wanted to go to breakfast but we went with Billy Dec instead another Chicago celeb.

I would have watched but I didn't know it was on. Back in the day Friends and Seinfeld were on Thursday nights. A group of about 5 of us used to pitch in and get an 1/8 of weed every week to watch them both. Good times.

All of the people saying the show hasn’t aged well, why? Yeah there’s a few bits here and there that are definitively 90s. But the show was pretty forward thinking for the time. Gay characters, transvestite character, young/old mismatch relationships, multi-racial relationships, single pregnant mom, surrogate mother, etc. The show was inordinately white for New York City. But aside from that it was fairly modern compared to most shows of that area that lasted.

Jen’s doesn’t look too bad as her work is at least better quality than Courtney’s. He nose job is closing in on 30 years old now and has likely had work done to remove wrinkles. Matthew Perry looked horrific and looked older than he actually is. Matt LeBlanc looks fine if he lost 30-40 lbs, the silver hair works well on him. David Schwimmer looks older with his face hanging a bit, but fine otherwise. Lisa Kudrow looks pretty darn good for someone closing in on 60, if she had work done it was very minimal. Courtney is downright scary, like she had to have reconstructive surgery after an accident and this is the best they could do. Sad because she was very hot back in the day and should have aged just fine naturally like Lisa appeara to have.

Loved Friends it hasn't aged well at all will probably watch but haven't yet.

I completely disagree here. I wasn’t sure what to expect re-watching, but we watched with our kids (17, 14, 10) over the COVID year and re-watched the entire series. I laughed just as hard this time around, and so did the kids. The way they played off each other, their comedic timing and the physical comedy (especially LeBlanc & Kudrow) were absolutely fantastic.

I thought they did really well with the reunion. I’m glad they just had the reunion vs. trying to do an ep or two showing where characters are today. They just got to go back and re-live what was. The table reads were fantastic and Kudrow could go play Phoebe today.

I loved it overseas. We huddled up in our trucks at night on missions with the new portable DVD players that just came out and watched season 1-8 that was released at the time. It holds a special place to me always but is meh in this horrific day and age. Truly glad you guys still enjoy it.

Smoking like he does aged him poorly.
That and the addictions he had hurt him pretty bad. His ultra white fake looking teeth really jumped out at you watching the reunion. And his voice was messed up so he didn’t talk all that much. My wife said that she saw an article saying he had to undergo emergency dental work earlier in the day before they shot the reunion which is the explanation for the speech issues. I said it looked and sounded like he was recovering from a mildish stroke.

It is crazy because his dad, who made an appearance on the show as Joshua’s dad in one episode, aged gracefully.

Was never a huge fan of the show during its ten year run, but would catch the show in reruns late at night. The reunion was really good on every level. Courtney Cox has tried to reverse the collagen implants and admits it was a huge mistake. I thought Jennifer Aniston looks great. Didn't notice any obvious "work" on her face at all. Matthew Perry had a dental emergency on the day of shooting the reunion show and clearly showed the effects of the surgery. He remains clean and free of substance abuse. Joey has gained weight but seemed to roll with it. The guest stars on the reunion show added some flair. Overall, I LOL'd a few times and appreciated the writers and producers input and memories.

All the symptoms of Tardive Dyskinesia (sp?) from too much Meth. He's even said that the entire third and fourth seasons were a blur due to his out of control drug habit.
