I have all of that stuff minus the bump stock lol. A lot of guys were bitching about that pistol brace ban, and I think it’s silly myself, but decided to take advantage of that grace period and nd register what I had as short barrel rifles.
I have a bunch of class three stuff and I thought I’d get these done for a total of $500 instead of what would cost me $1500 in case I ever wanted to convert them down the road.
My shop does not charge any fee for doing all the paperwork, pictures, and fingerprints when you buy a suppressor, short barrel, rifle, or automatic weapon, but they charge you $100 fee when you’re manufacturing it yourself.
They have to engrave a new serial number on the gun and again do the paperwork with pictures and fingerprints which takes up time so they do that for $100. This is because you’re manufacturing your own short barrel rifle or shotgun, so you then you also have to pay the $200 tax stamp.
You had until May 31 to register them as a short barrel rifle without paying for a Tax stamps so they only charged me $100 per gun.
So soon as the gunsmith heals up and finishes the work on my AK 47 pistol, it will be a fully convertible to an AR 47 with the clipperzine thing that goes up and the adjustable, folding telescoping, extra deadly, pistol brace or stock. 😂😂😂
