Apparently the AA label, even as one of the 50 Honorable Mention award winners is pretty tough if you come from the B1G. Kaminsky and Russell on the First team AP, then no players on Second or Third Team, but amazingly only Trimble listed among the 50 in Honorable Mention.

I was disappointed to see AW passed over until I realized that Dawson, Valentine, Trice, Wells, Hammons, Farrell, all passed over. But players from the following schools, ND State, St.Francis, Delaware State, S.C.- Upstate ( ?) , East.Wash., NJIT, Sacra.State., Wm. and Mary, Stonybrook. Not sure the B1G got a lot of love.

I do understand how these awards get given out as a result of AP voting, but it seems like 3 Big Ten players out of 65 doesn't feel right.

On a side note, the Iowa commitment must have hurt Isaiah Moss in the Tribune's All State awards. He was not found worthy to even be one of the top 55 players in the state of Illinois, in the opinion of the very objective Chicago Tribune writers.
Just get it done on the court next year, Isaiah.
