Luka came alive in the 2nd half. 8-10 from the field including several key baskets, made all 3 FTAs, and grabbed a couple of very crucial rebounds down the stretch. Not taking anything away from Bohannon or Cook but I doubt the Hawks win without him today.

He has realized he can play well at this level. Plays tall, ball is always above his head and has great hands. He, TC, and JB are a nice trio.

Very much agree. I thought, given IL’s style and personnel, that Moss would have to have a big game. But it was Garza making IL pay for the Cook double team in a big way. Think this explains why IA was getting so many FTs too. IL had no answer for BOTH Cook and Garza. Meanwhile, Black is held to 4 for IL.

Love watching him play. It isnt always pretty but he rarely makes a bad play and is always fighting.

Really a shame he didnt make all Frosh team as he deserved it.

He will demand a double team next year. He has too good of footwork and touch to be left alone on the block or high post. He may be our second best shooter as well. You rarely see him miss an open jump shot.
