I might have missed a thread on this but on Sunday I noticed signs on the Coralville strip saying that GDI was having a going out of business sale. I'm guessing that the mega site is about to be complete and they are going the Amazon route without a brick and mortar location.

Scandalous lies. GDR clarified for us multiple times that he always paid his debts to the satisfaction of his creditor.

I'll bet the Revolt sales have been so off the charts, that GDR is converting the whole facility to production, bottling and distribution.

Sadly, it is us die-hard Hawkeye fans who will suffer the fallout.

I predict a severe shortage of Hawkeye gear and tchotchkies within a year. Soon, only rich alums and donors will be the only ones who can afford legacy Hawkeye products. It will start slowly, but there will ultimately be looting and riots over the leftover ragtag Hawkeye's gear, turning Coralville and Iowa City into a Mad Max armageddon of half-clothed Hawk-fan ragamuffins.

But they will ALL be very clean shaven. A little greasy/oily, but baby's butt smooth.....
