Garza last 8:35

Again, Garza shows what refuse to lose actually looks like. Those moves he was making with the ball were amazing for a player of his size. And as has been well documented, almost everything Luka accomplishes is not because of natural talent but because of a work ethic that would embarrass John Henry (look it up).

I noticed Rutgers fans complaining the he got all of the calls. Seems to me they were bailed out with a foul preventing an easy basket a couple of times.

And he's doing all of this against ranked teams whose entire gameplan revolves around stopping him.

Garza can really play. He's so consistent we just kind of take it for granted he will get 20+ points on very efficient shooting. That is really hard to do. The way that he finished the game against Rutgers was incredible. Variety of way to score: jumpers, post ups, drives, free throws.

It seems Garza is super patient with the team and his looks throughout but when it came down to crunch time and he got the ball he was gonna put it up no question. Loved it

Garza is a beast but I wonder how long he can keep this pace up. It's a long season and he is logging heavy minutes giving maximum effort while taking a beating down low. Not sure there are any easy wins on the schedule, but it would be nice to get a big lead in a couple games and give him some rest. I think we are at 2 cotton rolls in the nose YTD so he is keeping pace with his season average in this category as well.

Without Garza this would be just an OK team, and in this year's B1G that would mean lower half. They'd be trying to scratch and claw for one of the last tourney bids.
He is the one player who his team absolutely counts on every game to be the difference maker. POY, no doubt.

I was thinking that last year but he kept on doing it night after night
