Don't get me wrong, Luka is great. His drive, will, work ethic, enthusiasm are all awesome. I think some of that was even infectious for his summer league team, and that's saying a lot.

But let's not get carried away like he's one of a kind. Thousands upon thousands of professional athletes have possessed the same drive Luka has. That's how most of them made it to that level.

Pretty much any pro football player. Pretty much any pro boxer. Pretty much any wrestler. Pretty much any Olympic track and field athlete. Gymnast, swimmer, figure skater. The list goes on and on. No drive, no survive.

As for basketball: Jordan, Kobe, Magic, Bird, Rodman, Artest, Jimmy Butler, Garnett, Isaiah, LeBron, Stockton, Ben Wallace, Reggie Miller, Rambis, Hansbrough, Alford, Skiles, Street, Moe. Again, the list goes on and on.

Don't sell these guys short. There's a lot more there than just athleticism

Luka has proved himself worthy.
