His POY was gone 2 games ago. No chance now. It will go to a player on a good team.

You can't be the best player in the game if you're only effective on one end of the court.

jGarza clearly is NOT the POY. Those type of players lift all of their teammates and take control of the game. That is NOT Garza anymore.
Not a very good comparison, but I'll make it anyway. Troy Davis deserved the Heisman but played on a bad team (that was never on TV). Luka is probably the NPOY, but this late season swoon (we'll see if it continues or if they turn it around) will certainly have an impact. Sadly, the talking heads on ESPN have too much of an impact. Even as a Cyclone fan, I have to give Luka credit here. He is a helluva player.
Hawks finish this season on a positive note. Regardless, Luka wins POtY and deserves it. Bunch of idiots on this board.

Luka's numbers are gradually slipping downward. The talking heads are beginning to bandy other names for the NPOY honor. Luka needs to put up some serious numbers in wins against some upcoming opponents or I'm afraid both of the reasons he gave for returning are going to vaporate.
I think there’s some truth to him wearing down some. He’s looked fresh tonight after our 5 day break. He’s probably hearing some whispers about poty being in jeopard and isnt going to let that happen!
