Sorry if I missed it but was the play whistled dead with the incomplete call? B/c it's too bad Neimann didn't run the fumble to the end zone for a TD on the first play of the game.
If the officials had played it like the Dolphins / Titans game today, we may have had Neimann go like Reshad Jones (for a fumble recovery and a 38 Yd TD) as all Illini players were just standing around exactly like the Titans.
