The reason JOK and UTH can't get open is because everybody know MG can't score, finish, make ft's, etc. The more athletic another team is the more MG's weaknesses are on display. Sapp has his weaknesses as well, but he can at least create a shot and play defense. MG makes the most of what he has on defense, but he not really that good. Athletic players make him look silly.

I am still amazed at the number of fans who are blind to his lack of ability. Woody is much more valuable to this team than MG.

Really has little to do with athleticism. He just doesn't have allot of ability.

I know most people cant distinguish basketball ability from athleticism but they're not the same thing.

If Mike was a decent jump shooter he would be twice as effective. Its easy to guard a guy who doesn't want to shoot.
