I don't support it in a vaccum. But at the same time the Republicans have pulled this stuff so much that I kind of get it.

Here's the thing. I agree with her. There have to be measures taken to protect girls and women in their gendered competitions. Maybe allow this kid to compete but make her ineligible to take a spot. Team sports will be more difficult to deal with. If a trans-athlete plays, the results don't count?? Some kind of policy has to be worked out.
