1. I have consistently said I am against government waste and for the shrinking of the federal government. My problem is not with the house cleaning; my problem is I don’t trust Elon Musk. I just don’t.
2. Yes, government waste is ubiquitous. Let me know the deficit numbers after one fiscal year of Trump then I will render judgment on Trump’s fiscal sensibilities (or the lack thereof).
3. In the AOC v Elon intelligence thread, I believe my response was something to the effect of “Is this a serious question?” AOC is not Marjorie Taylor Greene stupid, but she’s nowhere close to Musk’s intellectual acumen.
4. I don’t trust Elon Musk or Donald Trump. You are asking me to celebrate the fox watching the hen house. I will hope the outcome is great for America; I am just not going to hold my breath.
