Golf degenerates, I heard a rumor....

Bernard Langer’s golf career might be finished because of an injury he suffered playing pickle ball....an Achilles heel (possibly ruptured) injury...
Anyone else hear anything about this? He’s won an awful lot of tourneys in his lifetime.

He ain’t the only “senior” who has torn an Achilles or a knee up playing pickle ball! Wow...too bad.

My FIL tore his playing pickleball about 6 years ago (he is 80 now) he definitey walks a bit different since he did it.

I tore my Achilles running hill sprints about four years ago. It's no laughing matter. I couldn't walk for a few months, and then in a heavy boot. I'm back to "normal" now, but my calf is smaller than the other, and it definitely wears down a lot more quickly.
