My Dad had an intense case of Colonitis and the biopsy for cancer came up negative. Although he will be on soft foods (no steak, beer or BBQ), he will be able to go to Stl. Thanks for your well wishes and prayers y'all. Also like to thank MN Hawk for the emails asking about him. God bless and safe travels to Stl from wherever you hang your hat.

Great to hear the good news about your dad Azchief. Hope the two of you have a blast in St. Louis and get to see some exiting wrestling. Also a Hawks win would have to cap the trip off just right. Go Hawk.!!!!

I can't believe you can't find a Bartender somewhere who will sign a Prescription for you that Beer is a soft food.

Just saying.........

Thats good news AZCHIEF, just lost my father to cancer its no fun, have a safe trip to the big city. Look at the bright side you have someone to keep you under control.

That is great to hear Az, enjoy every minute with him! Time fly's, but memories last a life time! I think this is your first Nationals, is that true? I posted on another thread my seat at Nationals, look me up if you have time. If your Dad gets tired of hanging out with riffraff fans at Nationals, send him my way to show you do hang out with people that have some class (OSU fans)!

Fabulous news. Have a great time at the nationals. Tell your dad I hear they have some great slow-cooked oatmeal in St. Louis.

so glad to here this AZ, sure hope the old boy is rooting for iowa we can use some of that good karma. have a great time both of you.

Good for you AZ (and dear old Dad)! We're counting on you 2 to pull the Hawks thru (no pressure though - Ha!).

That's great news for you and your family. Enjoy your Dad and I hope you have many more years with him.

Thanks again boys...Tognetti, thanks for the invite but on behalf of my Pops, have to say he has enough problems w/o having to deal with a pain in the ass ;)

Great news hope you have a great time in St Louis.. I dont know where your staying we are at the Hyatt by the Arch if there we might see you. were a ways from the tournament but hope some Hawk fans are staying there.

Great news, Chief. I know a lot of father/sons who go to NCAAs and good to hear there will be a couple of Chiefs in the house.

He's really excited...big time Iowa guy in sports with room for Arizona basketball/football/baseball in his heart. When Iowa played football down in Arizona, he had a crisis of the soul...hehe. I did not as I am a Arizona season ticket holder. Had a lot of people wearing Hawkeye jerseys with Arizona hats down here at the game and vice versa. The Hawks are well represented down here and its always fun when we play against each other. I root for Iowa against everyone else. This is not true in wrestling because everyone else can take a flying leap off a bridge.

We didn't have the $$$ when I was growing up in Iowa to do this type of stuff but he always made sure I had good sports gear and that I got to go to tournaments/camps. Nice to be able to repay him somewhat. Well enough of this soft, weepy crap, Thursday can't get here soon enough ;)

It's the soft, weepy crap that is what life is all about. It makes life worth living for it gives meaning to life.

Enjoy your time with your Dad and laugh as much as possible.
