Halfway through the schedule, 4-2. Close losses to good teams. It seems like a good time for Iowa to heal up, look at some film and try to correct mistakes. A week from Saturday it's on to NU and then back home to play Minny.

Ferentz and your Athletic Dept did Penn State a favor by moving your bye week to this week as the original schedule had PSU/Iowa playing this week. When Franklin took over at Penn State he looked at future schedules and saw that in 2017 PSU was to play Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State, and MSU on consecutive weekends and felt that was going to be brutal. PSU bye week was Sept 23 and the only other team on the schedule with a bye week that same week was Iowa so Franklin approached Iowa about switching the game to Sept 23 and the bye week to Oct 14.
Glad it worked out well for both teams.
I have a feeling that Jewell is hurt a lot worse then being reported the way he was holding that arm and went to training room tells me something pop out of place as in shoulder and that can be very painful and a 4 to 5 week healing process on normal people I hope I'm wrong.
One should not assume.Bad weekend for a bye for the fans since there are 0 ranked vs ranked matchups this week. I'll be watching the Dodgers vs I assume the Cubs
I guess it doesn't need to be ranked vs ranked. I like baseball thoughOne should not assume.
Does it need to be ranked vs ranked to be interesting? I find any of the following to have some level of intrigue
Cal vs WSU
WVU vs TTU (how is TTU ranked?)
ISU vs KU (not to watch, but to have an eye on to see if the Clowns fall on their face)
WI vs PU
LSU vs AU
Mia vs GT
TX vs OU
FL vs TAMU
NE vs OSU
Stan vs OR
Plus Man United visits Liverpool. You don't need to resort to baseball, man.
I'm not glad because it didn't work out. Next time, lose.
