They were never as good as their Purdue win indicated. They abused Purdue's bad P&R defense like we did. Difference is that Jok has been far more consistent than Mason scoring and their big men hit 3's they haven't made all year while our frontcourt made layups/dunks they've made all year.

You are so right. Many Rodent fans are arrogant, and if they get into the liquor pregame, they can be obnoxious and combative. I've been challenged to a fight the last two Rodent games I attended. At 5'8" and 145#, I guess I'm as easy target. Hope the Hawks make The Barn go silent when they play the Rodents.

I will be shocked if either Nebraska or Minnesota end up .500 or better in the Big Ten. First third of the league always seems like things are going to be close...then reality hits.

Agree, they can be dangerous under Chambers.
However, they CAN be a spoiler. They have Indiana, Maryland, and Purdue next month. Hopefully they can win at the right time to our benefit.
Minny is jekyl/hyde team but so are the hawks.
beings its at the Barn I have to give the nod to Minny. Iowa has won there in recent years, but MInny has some size inside and the guards that can give you fits. It would take Iowa playing like they did vs PUR to get a win up there.
PSU is an odd team. They have the athletes, but damn they look lost on offense/defense. This far into the season they are still making some horrible passes and decisions with the basketball. They beat MSU & Minny this week which could give them confidence, but that game yesterday was as ugly as sin.

I watched some of the game. Was flipping back and forth from Duke/FSU.
Very painful to watch. A lot of unforced errors, crazy shots, etc. I just scratch my head on how PSU beat
MSU and Minnesota, which both look like tournament teams.

Rutgers is at the bottom, but they are going to knock some teams off this year if they don't
come ready to play.

OSU lost one of their star players to injury.
Also they are not recruiting at the level they used to. I don't know what happened there. But Matta always seems to get it figured out and they will go on a run about the time they play Iowa. Seems to happen every year.
