Was reading some threads at gopherhole.com, and read about how Iowa fans wonder why Gopher fans hate us. Well, I don't think I have ever thought or cared about why Gopher fans hate Iowa. I don't even think about Minnesota until the week they play Iowa. My guess as to why Gopher fans hate Iowa, would be penis envy.

I don't know. I'd be pretty pissed at fans who came into my field and tore down my goal posts and ran off with them. Although, they hated us long before that happened.

Not to mention a LARGE percentage are picking Minnesota to win. If this game comes down to clock management Claeys will most definitely snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Minny was ok while Holtz was there. Even the Mason years were ok. Unfortunately for them, an 8 win season is about as good as it gets. Kill had peaked and the real lean years are once again staring them in the face. When you can't tout your own success, you rip on the neighboring programs that you desire to be... Wisconsin and Iowa. That is where they are.

On a side note... they mirror ISU on so many fronts...delusional fans and lots of hatred towards Iowa.
