Grades From Florida

Desanto is so fun to watch. Him and Jayden are as good as it gets out of the transfer portal. So glad they became Hawks.
I do not regret my desanto shirt purchase! agreed, talk about two different types of wrestling. Watching JE in freestyle he showed more on his feet. He was hitting some nice doubles. He has been really relying on slide byes thus far this year. Marinelli needs to pound that post hi-c in his head.

125- Good to see Spencer back. Looked a bit rusty and hesitant as would be expected. Maybe once he gets up to speed it will go up but I thought he looked about 70% of prime Lee, his typical power and explosion just not there. Need him to win here vs NCST.

133- Austin looked best so far this year, nice to see the wrap off his grab hand. Need more of the same tomorrow.

141- Kinda sloppy still but some good grit vs Simon. The ref in that match needs to hang it up. Bonus needed tomorrow.

149- Max looked good first match was too hesitant second match vs a skill set he struggles with. Coaches seemed ok with a learning moment here as Max usually responds with some fire to losing. Tough guy tomorrow but a big win will make that loss fade.

157- I could see this coming as soon as young decided to mess around trying to ride in the 3rd and rolled around on the mat. Corby called it on the audio. Not smart wrestling. Need him to rebound tomorrow.

165- looked really good I thought. Seems to be building. Nice TDs a hard ride thrown in. Has wrestled Bullard a couple times at NCAAs.

174- his unwillingness to pull the trigger more especially with leg shots is frustrating. A long ways from Kem and not an AA wrestler without changes. Underdog vs Hidlay.

184- Abe looked very good I thought. Got to legs well, some confident upper body stuff. Very good finishes. He pulled the trigger! Nothing to lose tomorrow and lots to gain.

Warner is building, you can see it. Gonna need to bring it vs NCST.

While Tony looks very good part of me misses a bit heavier Tony some. Getting under 240 is getting a bit too light for my taste but he is also learning to wrestle a slightly different style as well with the new body type.

Good insights. I’m taking a different position on Cass. What he gave up in lbs, he gained more in firepower and speed. He’s never going to be as big as #1 or #2. This build suits his style and is the only change he could make in one season that can change the outcome IMHO.

Abe needs to wrestle today like yesterday. As MVP said nothing to lose and everything to gain. Don't settle for a close loss, go for the win and if it doesn't work so be it. Really hope he goes again today. Great test.

Not freaking out yet but who is back up at 57? Reyna? Any chance in the world Kennedy could make 57?
Relax yourself , young will be fine. He wins that match next time they see each other. I don’t mind Young coming in at a low seed, and ruining other guys March! Young is a storm trooper and will not give up, he learned from that matchup.

125 A looked pretty solid given the circumstances somewhat glad he had a challenge of wrestling the full match.
133 A+ ADS looking like a man on a mission. Very very impressive
141 B- never felt like he was going to lose. I feel like this is what you can get with the style he wrestles
149 c+ mixed bag here again. Maybe a bit of gas tank issue here.
157 c+ I feel like the strategy was a bit off here in the second match.
