Malcom takes 1st in wild one near falls,reversals everthing.11-8
Danny Vega from Iowa St took 6th place getting pinned in the 5th place match. Man he's got a long way to go. Not looking like a starter at this point.
I heard he had an exciting match with Rodriguez from siue before getting pinned I think he might still be small for the weight
He's actually wrestling a little better than I thought he might. He was extremely small for 125 coming out of high school.
Kaleb Young with a 10-4 win in the final. He needs the redshirt but big things are coming
He can tend to be a little sloppy and put himself in bad situations. He needs the year to tighten things up, but there is a lot to like. JMO
Rodriguez beat Simmons in OT does isu throw Simmons in now or do they stick with Larson. I know Simmons is cutting some weight to wrestle at 125

Rathbun was looking for a turn. Came close a couple times. Yates was grabbing Rathbun's wrist from on bottom and stalled it out. Yates got the better of it from neutral.
Also, Tristan McDonald is a goer. Fun to watch.
Vega also wrestled in Open division and not freshmen division. So hard to compare results with most Iowa & UNI freshmen
Like anyone, I would look at their wins and losses regardless of division. Not a good showing. However, he's a small young kid and this is just his first tournament.
