how about C: tired of the insufferable fanbase that was over here beating it's chest for the last two weeks. it's time they move on and beat their chests on the opponents board of whatever bowl game they back into. They infested this board like a plague and polluted it with their arrogance. If this guy is sincere in his congrats, he is just a casualty of thier sh**ty fans.
All programs have great fans and jerks. My observation is that experienced fans don't act like that. Of course there are exceptions. And some people react poorly when provoked. But that takes accurate self evaluation which is becoming less common.
I never troll other boards (although I went on the Nebraska board and shoved a little of the crap over there after the game that we were seeing on here two weeks before the game. I was banned within two minutes. i deserved it).
Even when I worked in an office that was split 50/50 with Hawkeye and Cyclone fans, I never talked crap during that week. I never talk crap with a cyclone friend of mine. I don't go looking to ruffle feathers online or in real life...but considering how their fans have been on this board (and were allowed to be), I have no problem throwing it in their face after the fact
Regardless this guy isn't being a troll or a douche, you however are an embarrassment to Iowa fans in my opinion.
