There are no limits. I've seen sweet church ladies on my FB - that I've known to be good people all my life - excusing anything and everything. As long as they have an "R", there's nothing these ladies won't believe, accept, and/or excuse.

I know. I was with my parents, sister, and my aunt last weekend and they were all telling me that Trump wasn't a slime ball. I was flabbergasted. Uh, he was banging a pornstar while his third wife was pregnant. "no, that's not true." What do you mean it's not true???

Yeah, it's really weird and sad. My own dear, sainted mother will quote things she see on FB, but will continue to argue the validity of things that there's audio/video proof of. I've found it's easier/way better to just not talk about it with her.

They don't care. In 2016 I heard multiple women say they were voting for Trump bc women can't lead.
