top 5 match up in Iowa City? I was trying to think of the last regular season game I went to that was a top 5 match up. I have tickets to the game and can't wait! I've been to Iowa City several times and always enjoy tailgating with Hawk fans. Though I was kind of bummed the game won't be at night. Do you think Game Day will be there? I'm thinking no since both teams have already played in a game with Game Day on sight. Plus does Game Day ever come to games where Fox Big Noon Show is on hand?
Have to give the big edge to Hawkeyes. PSU just needs to make sure they don't turnover the ball like Maryland and every other team has against your defense. Otherwise it will be long day/night as it has been for others. Also unlike 2017 and 2019 our running game has not been good, which after last night I think I'm scared to throw against your defense.
Having a 3rd offensive coordinator in 3 years and new oline coach has just hurt continuity. Our oline coach is in his 2nd year, but last year there was barely any practice so this is first hands on year. I think the running game will improve as the season goes on, but it has been abysmal thus far. Clifford has not been running as much this year and he isn't as good at running as Trace was. Plus even though we have some great backs, no one has proven to be explosive like our recent backs in Saquon, Miles Sanders, and Journey Brown. PSU doesn't have the dominating Olines Iowa and Wisconsin have annually, so it really helps us when we have a difference maker and NFL caliber RB in the offense. It's been all thunder and no lightening thus far.
Anyways, after last season and from what I've seen thus far I have not written off Indiana tonight. Not sure how any PSU fan can consider any game an automatic win after last season. It's not like PSU is winning games by 5 TDS this season thus far either. If Indiana spots us 14 points of turnovers than I can see an easy win tonight!
