Gronowski is on the Iowa Campus right now on a Visit .

Correct, not a bidder yet a benchmark for 6-7th round picks and signing bonuses. As a late day 2 pick, no guarantee you make a squad either. Iowa would pay better than a practice squad...
Okay, I think I should probably mention that it was a joke.

Of course the NFL is not bidding against Iowa.

All we've heard is that Iowa is competing with the NFL.
He might need to have an idea where he could go in the draft. If it's not high enough he may look into moving up by playing in the best conference in the country for a year, even though it's Iowa.

Back on topic here boys any 'new' scoop? Maybe Iowa floated a range of NIL to MG, he agreed and Brad's push last night was to finalize a package. I do wonder if Brad has like a donor top 50 on speed dial with Venmo ready if we need to close a deal? :)

With a lack of decent receivers and a shitty OLine history of horrible pass protection...not sure this QB improves his draft potential with another year in college...especially Iowa.

I’m tired of the offensive line stuff. They weren’t perfect but they weren’t horrible either. Our problems typically stem from ending up in obvious situations, without a deep threat to keep the defense honest, and a QB that doesn’t move in the pocket. There don’t a line in college football that wouldn’t struggle with that. Playing in a phone booth with no threat of throwing deep= lots of pressure on the QB.

It's the combination of all three phases of the pass game, but to suggest the OLine was even "average" in pass pro is very generous.

Could be something close to that. Most of the big-ticket packages used to lure/retain major prospects are paid by the "Swarm Inc" side of the operation, usually in exchange for some marketing consideration.

The "Swarm Collective" side is what fans donate to (and where beer proceeds go). It's a non-profit, with the proceeds being used to pay equal "salaries" to all the players who choose to participate in the public service work.

Or at least that's the way it used to be. It might have evolved since then.

@Jimmy McGill, I'll never pass another Cinnabon with thinking about Saul or Breaking Bad...

Servings8

Ingredients

  • DOUGH:
  • 14 oz / 396g - all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp - granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • 1 cup / 8oz - buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp - unsalted butter melted
  • FILLING:
  • 5 oz / 142g - brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 oz / 42g - granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp - cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp - ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp - ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 2 tbsp - unsalted butter melted + 2 tbsp - unsalted butter, softened
  • ICING:
  • 2 tbsp - cream cheese soften
  • 2 tbsp - buttermilk
  • 4 oz / 114g - powdered sugar sifted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425F. Butter a round 10" pan and set aside.
  • To prepare the filling, combine all sugar and spices in a bowl. Mix to combine and then add the 2 tbsp of melted butter. Mix together until it resembles sand. Set aside.
  • Prepare the dough by add all the dries in a mixing bowl. Mix to evenly distribute the ingredients. Combine the buttermilk and 2 tbsp of melted butter. Add the wet ingredients to the dries and mix just until it comes together to form a shaggy dough. Transfer the dough to a floured work surface.
  • Knead the dough just until it forms a smooth ball.
  • Press the dough into a 12" x 9" rectangle. Spread the 2 tbsp of softened butter over the dough while leaving a 1/2" border. Spread the sugar filling evenly over the dough. Press the mixture in with your fingers of with a rolling pin.
  • Roll the dough into a log from one long end of the rectangle. Press the seams together at the end. Using a string of sharp knife, cut the log into 8 pieces. Gently open and flatten the cut side of the bun and transfer it to the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, prepare the icing by combining all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix together just until smooth.
  • When the cinnamon buns are out of the oven, you have a choice to either leave it in the pan or you can flip it out onto a plate. Be careful not to burn yourself! Let the buns cool for 5 minutes and then drizzle on the icing. Serve warm.

Last year they were pretty bad I pass pro. This year they had a couple of good games a couple of bad games. Mostly I thought they were average. I guess I’m very generous.

I haven't been paying much attention. So we landed another blue chip NIL transfer, but still have no one that can catch or block, if I'm reading everything correctly?
