Grew up in a small town, was always just a friend until I got into college, with my own place, job and car. Then it got almost too easy with coworkers, class mates and friends of friends, and ones unhappy in relationships. Best were no strings attached with friends...amazing times with little to no effort. I'm actually the opposite.

I'm 41 and had a few drunken hookups in high school and college with basically strangers.

I found them pretty degrading afterwards although fun in the moment. I used to see women as sex objects basically and regret that.

I had a couple other women throw themselves at me and turned them down and am glad I did in hindsight.

I also regret watching porn regularly after learning more about the porn industry, how most of the women involved don't like it, are poor or drug addicts and just need money.

Also disturbing is how porn sites are now being exposed for uploading child abuse and rape videos.

So, I regret supporting that; living in a pornographic, sexually obsessed culture like the United States made it difficult to resist but it's still my fault.

I'm working on being a better person and have some successes at times.

1997 I believe, 22 years olda buddy talked me into going over to The Field House, a bar I rarely walked into but I agreed as not much was going on this Saturday night.

He ends up chatting up a few older women downstairs, probably late 30's, to the right of the dance floor and I'm really not paying much attention or making conversation as I'm just not that interested in even being out at this point.

Bar announces last call and lights come up and they ask if we want to go to an after hours and I quickly just say thanks but no thanks, and I'm just headed home.

I was completely clueless to the term MILF or cougar at this time in my life and had no thought that these older, possible divorcees, just wanted some young D.

My buddy was not too pleased with me as we went out to the Ped Mall and I confessed I had no clue these woman were just looking to pounce.

I still look back as that was probably one of the dumbest mistakes and missed opportunities of my life. As you get older you realize that younger women have no clue what they are doing and I missed the chance to get a tremendous life lesson...over and over again.
