Penn State's D isn't great, but they did play pretty well. Iowa needs to have more offense going forward, however, to go anywhere.
You play PSU anywhere but Kinnick at night and you lose by 4 TDs.
It absolutely sucks that we lost a game we had and that Penn State didn't deserve to win (needed to lose given that McSorely was so butthurt about needing to escape with a win that he angrily punted the ball after the final play.....that means you need to lose), ut with that said......
This was always about showing that you can play with them and improving and really catapulting the team that next step forward that they needed to take after the first 3 weeks.
Ignore him guys. He's working on finishing school. Can't just say, "Great game. You guys are brutal at Kinnick in a night game."

Penn State didn't deserve to win? What game were you watching? Both teams played their asses off and Penn State drove the length of the field with less than 2 minutes to win it. We also put up over 600 yards on offense! All that said, best of luck the rest of the way. Hope to see you in Indy!
I don't think we will get to Indy but Penn St. will unless Michigan or Ohio St. get significantly better. It was one odd game tonight for sure. Offense actually opened it up in the second half. Let the pass set up the run.
