Hamas leader possibly dead

That's the epitome of semantics, at best. Fact is the nation, on the whole, supported Hitler and the Nazi party. It's like saying an "independent" voting 2 times for Trump is not MAGA.
See, I have to disagree on this, and it’s a similar distinction I’ve tried to explain with Palestinians and Hamas.

Many Germans who fought in the war were simply men who loved their country, who hated what had happened to it after WW1. Then, once hitler took power, they quickly became the only game in town, the rest of Germany had to go along…bad things tended to happen to people who didn’t.

Similar, imo, is what happened to Palestinians. Once Hamas gained power, they became the only game in town, and while Israel with its fair share of justification has put its people ahead of Palestinians, that also has the long-term effect of them cementing their loyalty to Hamas. There’s simply no other option available.

You're a moron.

During World War II, approximately 18 million Germans served in the military, primarily within the Wehrmacht, which was the unified armed forces of Nazi Germany. The Wehrmacht consisted of the Heer (Army), Luftwaffe (Air Force), and Kriegsmarine (Navy).
Being in the military didn't grant membership to the Nazi party.

It's become clear over several discussions how utterly clueless you are on the subject of WW2, but damned if you don't like to remind everyone.
