Think it’s a sarcastic point, as LSU players didn’t get in handshake line yesterday. 🤔
Adama Sanogo and Tristen Newton were class acts up there on the stage and cool to see them succeed!
Maybe because Zach Edey was not playing so nobody there felt slighted

I don't mind missing a handshake line when your team wins a national championship. I just wish it was so they could celebrate winning and not talk trash to the other team.
I mean I like the back and forth during a game. But it was like they were mad at the media and Twitter trolls and translated that to everyone is against us.
You just know Mulkey utilized the perceived slight of LSU as motivation.
And it worked.
Uconn was pretty classy, honestly. A hard team not to like. Good in all aspects of the game, offense, defense, and well coached. Pretty much dominated everyone.
I don't think it's exactly a coincidence that whenever there's some big controversy in collegiate sports, some SEC school or schools is involved.
It's an important element of sports,.. When all the aggression of the event is over it's an opportunity to congratulate, mend fences, and confirm a shared sense of respect,.. It's what adults do.
It worked extremely well, and it'll probably also play in to some recruiting talks as well. Mulkey is a lot of things, but stupid isn't one of them.
JMO but I prefer the way pro athletes do it, seeking out individual member(s) of the opposing team after the game as they wish. That’s sincere sportsmanship. The handshake line just seems forced.
