Thank goodness for this post. I needed it. Sitting in Saint Something Hospital in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, watching my FIL writhe in pain from a broken hip. I cut short a vacation week with the kids so I could get back to Iowa City to pick up Mrs. Lucas and get over here. Nobody has said Happy Father's Day to me.
