I ordered something over a year ago, then it started a subscription at a $5 charge. Put it on hold in the spring when I discovered that it was recurring, didn't cancel at that time thinking I might want to get back into audible books. The hold is temporary, so they restarted the charges in July. I found the $14.95 monthly after a couple months of it recurring so called and they maintain that a digital subscription is non refundable.

Anyone have any luck on getting a refund from Audible? Also, if you aren't using Audible, you may want to validate in your "digital orders" what they are charging you.

EDIT - Just a friendly reminder. This one was even more tricky as it wasn't being invoiced to my card. I made a purchase my mom on her card on my Amazon account, so her CC was in my wallet. Amazon somehow opted to grab that card vs my CC and was charging her. Weird. Like I said, just a reminder to folks to check under digital orders, you may have a subscription you aren't using.

Kinda pissed that our newish car doesn't have a CD player since we listen to books on our road trips to MN and LA. We checked with our library where we normally check out audible books on CD, and they have downloadable books for free. Obviously not the latest but a good selection. The big problem is there's - for some reason - a waiting list on most of them so you have to plan ahead. Worth checking out, anyway.

Thanks, I don't even like audible books. But I tried it again for some reason. Then didn't go back to it. I'd just as soon listen to a podcast over a book.
