Read some reviews. Critics issue is too much Oscar baiting by Adams and Close. And that the lead is meh.

The guy playing Vance should be giving speeches at the Rally’s, He is much more comfortable pretending to be someone he isn’t than Vance is.

It is kind of funny that the GOP VP nominee got Ron Howard to direct his biopic and Glenn Close to star in it.

Amy Adams was nominated for a SAG award and is probably the best thing about the movie. But I did not hate it like some of the critics.

I read the book. Wish the guy who wrote it was running.

The acting and direction are fantastic. The plot is fairly one-dementional and feels pretty stale by the end.
