Great game and season. You represented yourselves with class, dignity and resolve Saturday night. I can only imagine how tough it was for such a disappointing loss and for those that made it to the game, the long ride home. You proved you were deserving of your ranking and a 12-0 team.

You have a great coaching staff and program. You have a ton of talent coming back next year and have a chance to do this again. Remember MSU's first Big Ten Conference game when we had our hearts ripped out by Wisconsin. We were back there two years later with even more determination and so will you.

Best of luck in the Rose Bowl. Every Spartan I know was pulling for your to get that game.

I was thinking about that, MSU's loss to WI in 2011. We'll see what happens. I certainly feel good having Beatherd coming back next year and I think Weigher coming up after him will be excellent. The future looks bright. Cheers.

What about the kid from WDM Dowling Boyel? Some say he is the best QB ever in the state of Iowa. Said he can run and throw, very solid player. I think he might be a solid player in the further after CJB leaves.

I'm still hungover from this Iowa loss. So, so, so, freekin close, just one stupid play here or there close. One play.

I'm sure Iowa fans appreciate the well wishes, but I am guessing it is doing little to alleviate the disappointment of what could have been. As the saying goes, "if it's and but's were candiy and nuts, what a merry Christmas we'd all have."

I have said in other threads what I will say now.

I wanted to hate all the MSU fans but they were great for the most part and were passionate about their team. Had a great experience at the game and while disappointing we didn't win, I now want MSU to win it all if they can.

We need to rep our conference and they are a much better option than rooting for OSU imo.
