I assumed that the reason they went with Laux was that, in the past, he's been tough to score against. Last year, Gross got the TF but he lost to NaTo, Richards and Clark all by decisions. So, I figured that would be the safe bet and it didn't work out.
The statement from Brands was
"for whatever reason we went with Laux..."
but I heard
"we had a damn good reason to go with Laux..."
Regardless, I don't expect Brands to ever admit the real reason. Plus Bull and Bowman made the type of loss at 133 inconsequential to the dual's final result.
Only one of those links is an article. The first one is just a video. Which I totally appreciate you posting, but I can't watch that at work (especially with the annoying autoplay, which stinks). It would be helpful to mention when a link is video only if you can next time.
But other than that, thanks very much for posting these! I hadn't seen them.

Look closely at the web addresses that he posted again.
Starts out with the http//www,hawkcentral.com/VIDEO/sports/ etc.
The other one shows hawkcentral.com/STORY/sports/etc.
Neither Laux or Glynn was going to win. No need to put Laux out there if he's not going to be the one going in March. Get Glynn the matches for his own development and see what he has at the end of the season. No need to put in a back up strictly for a dual.
I don't disagree with you. I believe that Glynn needs matches at this point. That being said, I believe there was a specific reason to wrestle Laux. Regardless, neither of us are making the call.
