Heavyweight was a duck. You tell me when that’s happened before in Iowa wrestling i postseason.
your a pretty big fan eh? Did you watch Cass match against Kerk yesterday? Sure looked like he struggled putting weight on the leg he had the sleeve on

This username was created back when Miller had the site but I haven’t posted in 10 years so I had to restart it. I’ll admit I’m fired up but this ain’t your daddy’s Iowa wrestling program.
So the last couple years when Iowa has been healthy and winning championships you never hopped on and said a word.

But now that they are clearly injured at multiple weights you jump on the board after 10 years to trash the team like this? Terrible "fan"

Makes sense, but barely. You’re taking my negativity and just spinning it into a seniority game.
To make it seem like~ F you guy only my Sh matters. Which most people do when they can’t find answer, especially for why our program looked like a Sh Show this weekend.
I had a different username before but they banned it once the algorithmic system was up and running.
Definitely a fan, just don’t mess on here a lot. Usually just scroll through looking for answers.
Either way, this will be my last comment for a while. You got what you want which is someone taking your bait and SH talking back to you.
I do have my life in which I live. Not one on a phone/computer commenting 2,000 times on message boards.
Go Hawks

If you really were a fan you’d know why they looked bad:
125: Lee-knee, Ayala-shoulder
133: hand
141: hand, knee
149: elbow
157:
165:
174: shoulder
184: unknown injury
197: early season knee-might be better
285: knee

We just qualified 10 guys from a team that has 2, maybe 3, actually healthy.

The defaults stink but I tell ya what we had some pretty banged up guys with serious injuries wrestle a lot of matches this year and other teams had guys missing big matches with little dings. Kem's shoulder obviously was not feeling good in his last match. Jaydin didn't start wearing that big brace for the heck of it and Cass clearly hurt something vs Hilger. Ayala clearly not close to 100% either.

I will say I have some concern if all these are just bad luck or if there needs to be a training adjustment because it's getting old.
This. All clearly with recent injuries - most within the last 2 weeks. Cass and Kem in this tournament both in the quarterfinals. Eierman in the last week or so and possible reinjury in the quarters.

How about 141. Who isn’t hurt at this point of the year? Check Twitter…I’m not alone.
JE was wearing a massive brace on his leg, and during his quarterfinal matchup tweaked it again. My guess is he’s pretty badly hurt. I don’t give a damn what Twitter thinks, and I’m not sure why you do either. Just because a bunch of people are shouting the same thing doesn’t mean their right, it just means they’re loud. But you do you bud.

Clown fans love Twitter.

They should be more concerned with their teams god awful showing this weekend. I guess when little brother gets shit stomped, all he can do is complain about big brother. 5 years of Lil Kev has worked out well for them.

The definition of a clown fan right there. Goes back to that 5 Star culture they are always chirping about.

They are happier when the Hawks lose tan when the clowns win. Not that they have done much of that in Wrestling for a couple of decades now.

My kid had hip surgery in September, finished the season and had surgery on the other hip the following week. Try again!!!

You should have went away with Miller.

Your post is a freaking joke.

OMG not twitter!!! Now you're just trolling.

Our resident fisherman should be back in a year or so to clean up the usual March trash.

So we win the title last season, probably win it two seasons ago, and now all of the sudden we’ve lost our identity and image? Come on, man! Another guy says it’s coaching, etc…Come on! Get over yourself. They aren’t ducking anyone. Tom and Terry are still the best for the job. Don’t risk further issues in two weeks by wrestling now. Detroit is the focus. We finished third. That’s not acceptable. Need to wrestle better and get healthy. Focus on two weeks in Detroit. I think everyone has missed time due to health. Warner and Young might be the only ones who haven’t missed time this season. Injury bug limited this team this season. They aren’t ducking people. Coaching doesn’t suck. Come on guys…
Warner hurt his knee beginning of the year.

Just been one of those years...

Its already being used against us for recruiting? Holy crap that moved fast.
Iowa has been banged up for most of the season starting with Kem, Lee, and Brands very early in the season. Adding JE, Ayala, Murin and Cass by mid season. Its been no secret that 80% of the roster has been carrying knocks for most of the season. Every meet they talk about all the injuries to the Iowa guys. Every meet we have guys out and others wearing braces and wraps.

anyone who claims to be a lifelong fan loses all credibility when the injuries that Ayala, eierman, kem and Tony are obvious. it’s two knees and two shoulders. just because a couple loudmouths on twitter gloss over the fact that they are hurt doesn’t change the reality.

also, calling this a duck doesn’t even make sense because wrestling and losing those matches wouldn’t have hurt any of the guys. kem, eiernan and Tony all already lost to the opponents they forfeited against so they only had something to gain from a seeding standpoint.

The guy calling it a “duck” is an isu fan. It has been his MO on cryclown fanatic for years.

Felt like stating the obvious: Congrats on qualifying ALL TEN wrestlers. Get some rest and get healthy Hawks. Time for battle in a couple weeks. You fans/family support you!

Hey Coach, when you first joined the cesspool I forgot to warn you about the posters who come on here only at tournament time and spew ridiculous crap like "Brands is a second-rate coach, fire him!" or "Iowa has fallen from their glory years" or "the Iowa wrestlers don't give enough effort." I know I should completely ignore them -- they only come out of their dungeons after Big10s and NCAA -- but it's maddening.

This weekend was mild compared to NCAAs after a bad round.

Phil knows what he’s in for, been here longer than most realize. Also I don’t think he cares what people on here have to say about the coaches or athletes. He knows the truth and that’s why Gabe is coming to Iowa.

I’m a lifelong Hawk fan. If you are too there are no excuses for today. We earned third. This program has lost its identity.

some "fans" if Iowa wrestling doesn't finish top 2...

Oh Phil knows, consider my earlier statement a shot across the bow. Too many busters talk too much shit about stuff they either don't know about, or only dreamed of. Ninety-nine point nine percent of their "insight" is comical at best. Had I quoted their BS, it would do nothing but make them feel as though they "mattered" the truth is, they don't. Our guys matter. The team matter. The coaches matter. The ass-clowns don't, and never will.

But hey, what do I know? I'm just some noob living vicariously through my kid because I never got any shiny medals..... #GOHAWKS

Most people on here don’t know shit from Shinola.

If the image actually had a Hawkeye with bandages and crutches, it couldn't be more accurate. The 2022 Hawkeyes = Injury Default Champs of B1G! How are we not able to keep more than half of our wrestlers healthy for a tournament, seems strange. Coaching concern or extremely bad luck?
In what sport on earth can coaches control whether injuries occur during competition? It is an unfortunate reality of competition that athletes and coaches have little to no control over and everyone has to deal with. What they do have control over is how they respond to injuries when they occur.

Extremely bad luck - to answer the question

So you're using Twitter as a source of information? Enough said. I hope you take the time to come back after the season when surgeries are scheduled.
