Golston is from Detroit and a high school teammate of DE Cedrick Lattimore. They visited Iowa along with some of their other teammates last month.

Iowa is the first to offer Golston but will not be the last according to Josh Helmholdt. He saw Golston at the Rivals Camp in Cleveland last week and really likes his upside a lot.
